Now the not so good News

This year has been literally a washout for truffles.

December, January and much of February saw day after day of torrential rain and, even now, everything is still saturated. I have had to pump out the flooded cellar twice. And we have had the added problem of constantly varying Covid restrictions, changing the rules covering lockdown, mixing, curfew and travel. We do, though, plan to hunt for summer truffles once the truffière is dry enough, maybe in May or June.
